Demond Watt suffers season-ending injury

Oct 30, 2016

Sad news reached out from France on Saturday night as US PF Demond Watt suffered season-ending kneecap injury. Angers BC beat Gries/Oberrhoffen 78:69 and it was fifth consecutive win since Demond joined the team. He was efficient as usual and contributed 20pts, 7reb, 2as and made 10 out of 14 shooting attempts. Obviously Demond had huge influence for the team and its wins averaging 15.0ppg, 10.7rpg, 1.3bpg and shooting 72.0% from the field.
Angers BC head coach Vincent Lavandier said: "It is a huge dissapontment as Demond was perfect player for our team, he is also a great competitor and very social person."
Kneecap surgery was done the very next day and went precisely well. Hard work, rehab and determination awaits ahead and ContractSports International team believes Demond will come back stronger than ever. We also would like to say a huge thanks to Angers BC staff for taking care of our player!
